The Legend of Zelda Wii U, up until now slated as TBD, has been announced as a 2016 title at today’s Nintendo Direct. The open world title – a first for the franchise – is hotly anticipated by the gaming world, and today’s announcement serves to fuel the rumours of a Nintendo NX launch in 2016. Will Link be sticking to the Wii U, of will his latest adventure make the move to a new platform? The Legend of Zelda an NX launch title? Only time will tell.
