Bowser Jr.
Flying in the Junior Clown Car, Bowser Jr.’s amiibo definitely falls into the category of one of the cutest amiibo from the Super Smash Bros. series. It’s a shame we haven’t seen the rest of the Koopa Kids, but it seems to me that Bowser has put them all in foster care.
Zero Suit Samus
Samus is one badass heroine, with or without her suit – so it only made sense to offer gamers both variants of her in the last two Smash Bros. games. Of course, this also means Samus received two amiibo in the Super Smash Bros. series, including this Zero Suit Samus amiibo.
Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and Hammer Slam Bowser
Exclusively for Nintendo platforms, Donkey Kong and Bowers leaped outside of the Nintendo universe and straight into the Skylanders universe with their Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and Hammer Slam Bowser variants! They both received special amiibo that worked with both Skylanders SuperChargers and with any game that utilized either Donkey Kong or Bowser amiibo.
Guardian
Released in the “Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” series, this extra large (and extra pricey) amiibo served as another means for players to unlock extra treasure chests each day. The Guardian amiibo specifically provided players with much-needed Guardian items!
Dr. Mario
You hear that? I bet just seeing Dr. Mario’s name on here will bring back memories of that quirky melody “Fever” from the original Dr. Mario game and it’ll be stuck in your head for days now. You’re welcome. Beyond having great theme music, Dr. Mario also makes a great looking amiibo – a perfect gift for the medical professionals in your life!
Duck Hunt
That cute dog that giggled every time you missed shooting a duck now has a home on your shelf! The Duck Hunt amiibo is based on the Super Smash Bros. character, which in turn was based on that classic light gun game, Duck Hunt.
