Nomad: The Legend of Zarqa Demo Is Available Now Ahead of Steam Next Fest

Embark On a Bittersweet Journey in Nomad: The Legend of Zarqa

Nomad: The Legend of Zarqa is giving players an early look at its Arabian fantasy world with a new demo available now ahead of Steam Next Fest. The upcoming roguelike dungeon crawler follows Zarqa, a woman driven by revenge after her village is destroyed and her husband is killed.

Inspired by an Arabian legend about a woman with piercing eyes, the game follows Zarqa on a quest to bring justice to a corrupted world. Armed with an enchanted bow, she must travel across mystical lands and battle dangerous enemies. All while uncovering ancient secrets and confronting the dark magic spreading throughout the world.

The demo offers a glimpse of the game’s combat and exploration, with four distinct biomes to explore. Each area features unique enemies, traps, and bosses, giving players different challenges as they progress through Zarqa’s journey. Players can also master five types of arrows and face 20 enemy types, each bringing its own challenges to combat.

One of the game’s more interesting features is its open-ended approach to exploration. Rather than forcing players down a strictly linear path, it allows them to explore the map freely. Players can spend time improving their skills and preparing for tougher encounters or head straight toward the final boss.

Nomad: The Legend of Zarqa is arriving on PC in Q1 2027. With its Arabian-inspired fantasy setting, bow-based combat, and freedom to explore at your own pace, the game could appeal to fans of roguelikes looking for something a little different.
