Run a Furry Daycare in Kennel Chaos
Watashi Games has announced Kennel Chaos: Daycare Simulator, a co-op management game that will launch on Steam in Q2 2027. The game draws inspiration from the developer’s own experience working as a kennel technician during college between 2013 and 2015.
In Kennel Chaos, players take on the hands-on work of running a busy doggy daycare. You and your friends will feed dogs, clean messes, give medication, play with pets, and handle the everyday problems that come with looking after a room full of energetic animals.
The game puts a strong focus on teamwork. Instead of managing everything through menus and spreadsheets, players physically handle the work themselves. You can only carry one thing at a time, whether that is a dog or a tool, while equipment stays on racks that players purchase and place around the facility.
Small problems can quickly turn into bigger disasters. A pile of poop might take seconds to clean, but ignoring it could leave paw prints across the building and create an even bigger mess. Players will also build and customize their daycare from an empty building. They can purchase dog runs, grooming tables, food preparation areas, play equipment, and decorations before opening their doors.
Money earned from the daycare goes toward upkeep and further improvements, while customer ratings depend on how well players care for the dogs.
With its mix of co-op chaos and business management, Kennel Chaos could offer plenty of unpredictable moments when it launches.
