If you like the idea of having a bunch of tiny creatures hanging around your desktop while you work, Bloomies might be worth keeping an eye on. The cozy monster-collector from German developer Silvanuz will launch on Steam on December 3, 2026, and a new trailer has arrived to mark the announcement.
Bloomies combines monster collecting with farming and incremental gameplay. You’ll plant seeds, grow eggs, and hatch more than 70 different creatures, each with their own ranks. From there, you can raise them, hunt down rare Sparkle Bloomies, and simply watch your little creatures go about their lives.
Things get a bit more chaotic when Shadow Bloomies show up. When they invade your taskbar world, your Bloomies automatically jump into battle. Taking down bosses will unlock new seeds and items, giving you more ways to expand your collection.
Not in the mood for fighting? Bloomies has a Cozy Mode that removes combat completely. You can focus on collecting, decorating, and customizing your little world instead. There’s also a skill system that lets you automate parts of the experience.
And yes, the whole thing actually lives on your taskbar. You can resize it, move it around your desktop, and even create multiple profiles. There are plenty of decorations and outfits to play with, including hats and more.
