Enter a Surreal World in Rebounder
Aggro Crab, the indie studio behind PEAK, Another Crab’s Treasure, Going Under, and Crashout Crew, has announced that it will publish Rebounder, an upcoming precision platformer from developer ThirtyThree.
The game will have a new playable demo at PAX West this weekend, where visitors can check it out at Aggro Crab’s booth. Rebounder has also previously been selected for the 2026 Tribeca Games Festival. And even featured in the Awesome Indies Gamescom showcase in 2025.
Aggro Crab says it immediately connected with the game after ThirtyThree first showed it to the team. With its fast-paced platforming and distinctive visual style, Rebounder appears to fit naturally alongside the publisher’s lineup.
“It’s been awesome working with Aggro Crab. They totally understand our vision for the game,” said Logan Gilmour, co-founder of ThirtyThree.
The publishing announcement also marks Aggro Crab’s push to expand its catalog. Following the success of PEAK, the studio says it is now accepting submissions from developers seeking publishing support. The team is primarily looking for intense, highly stylized games with personality, with projects requiring $500,000 or less and expected to reach completion within two years.
Aggro Crab says it isn’t limiting itself to specific genres, instead focusing on games that match the vibe of its catalog and appeal to its community.
As for Rebounder, the game puts players in the role of a roughneck worker sent on a dangerous job to a distant planet. Its challenging but fair platforming takes place in a surreal comic-book world built around ink, paper, and print.
With Aggro Crab behind it, Rebounder is certainly one to keep an eye on.
