Destroy the Robots in abducted
What happens when aliens abduct you and leave you trapped aboard their mothership? You fight your way home, of course. Independent developer Super Subatomic Games puts players in exactly that situation with abducted, a 3D isometric roguelike action RPG that has just launched its free demo on Steam.
In abducted, players must battle through the alien mothership and take down an army of hostile robots while searching for a way back to Earth. The game randomly generates its levels, giving each run a different layout and plenty of reasons to jump back in for another attempt.
Players can discover a variety of weapons, but they cannot carry everything they find. That limitation makes every loadout choice important, especially when tougher enemies and unique robot bosses enter the fight. Combining different weapons can also give players new ways to tear through the robotic opposition.
Survival also depends on smart resource management. Players can collect free loot boxes, unlock achievements, and rely on a helpful drone that points out important things they might otherwise miss.
Super Subatomic Games launched the free abducted demo on September 9, 2026. The developer plans to release the full game soon but has not revealed its price yet.
