We Are So Cooked Arrives on October 15 With a Hilarious Co-Op Challenge

Get Rid of the Dead Body in We Are So Cooked

Things have gone very, very wrong in We Are So Cooked. Someone is dead, you’re about to be in serious trouble, and there’s only one thing left to do: call your friends and get that body out of there.

Developer Dwarven Brothers and publisher 1312 Interactive have announced that the game will launch on Steam on October 15, 2026. The ridiculous 1–4 player co-op physics-stealth game challenges players to work together and secretly deliver a dead body to the exit.

Of course, that’s much easier said than done. The floppy body is difficult to move, and players will have to carefully coordinate their movements. All while dealing with doorframes, furniture, blood trails, witnesses, security cameras, and guard dogs. One bad move or a little miscommunication can quickly turn a perfectly planned escape into absolute chaos.

Thankfully, the environment is full of tools that can help you guys. Players can use a wheelchair to move the body, a mop to clean up evidence, or even throw a squeaky toy to distract a guard. The catch? You can either carry an item or drag the body, so teamwork is essential.

The game will also feature different scenarios, from sneaking through fancy hotel lobbies to escaping heavily guarded frozen bunkers. Each location brings its own hazards, obstacles, and opportunities for things to go horribly wrong.

Following its PC release, We Are So Cooked is also planned for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S at a later date. So, gather your most trustworthy friends, because October 15 is when the world’s worst cleanup job begins.
