A Hilarious Mission Is Coming to We Are So Cooked
Developer Dwarven Brothers and publisher 1312 Interactive have delayed We Are So Cooked, their chaotic 1-4 player co-op physics-stealth game, from its planned October 15, 2026 release. The good news? The extra development time comes with some pretty worthwhile additions.
We Are So Cooked will now launch in January 2027 with multiple maps available at release. The team originally planned to release these maps as post-launch content. However, the team has decided to include them from day one while giving the game some additional polish.

Before that happens, players will get their first chance to try the game during Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition, which runs from October 19 to 26. A public demo will be available during the event, giving curious players a chance to see just how badly a simple body-disposal mission can go.
In the game, you and your friends find yourselves in a rather unfortunate situation: someone is dead, and now you need to get the body to the exit without anyone noticing. Sounds easy, right? Not quite.
Onlookers, environmental obstacles, unpredictable ragdoll physics, and poor communication can quickly turn a simple plan into complete chaos. Every mistake can make things worse, so having a reliable squad could make all the difference.
We Are So Cooked launches on Windows PC via Steam in January 2027. The Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S versions will follow later on. For now, the wait continues, but at least we have a demo coming to Steam Next Fest.
