Meet the Two New Fighters in The King of Fighters AFK
Netmarble has released a fresh update for The King of Fighters AFK, bringing two new fighters to the roster along with several limited-time events for players to enjoy over the coming weeks.
Leading the update is Ash Crimson, one of the more memorable characters from SNK’s fighting game series. Known for his emerald-colored flames and his confident, often arrogant personality, Ash joins the game with signature moves such as Pluviose and Sneering Fireflight. In The King of Fighters AFK, he also carries the [Corrosion] Synergy, making him a valuable addition for players building specialized team compositions.
Players can recruit Ash through the dedicated Ash Crimson Arrival Event, while a separate [Corrosion] Synergy Pick-Up event increases summon rates for fighters sharing the same synergy. Both events will remain available until August 19.
The update also introduces Zero (Clone), a fighter with [Special] Synergy and the [Cosmos] attribute. Fans will recognize his iconic skills, including Hakura Messei, Zanfuu Enpa Shouha, and Clone. Players can obtain Zero (Clone) through Premium Summons or by visiting the League Battle Shop.
Beyond new characters, Netmarble is launching additional activities. The Tropical Island event, running from August 13 to August 26, adds the Legendary Pets Blaze and Popsy, while the Lucky Elpy event, available from August 10 to August 14, offers players a chance to recruit the Legendary supporter Ron.
Based on SNK’s iconic franchise, The King of Fighters AFK reimagines classic fighters in charming pixel-art style while offering strategic team-building and fast-paced battles.
With fan-favorite characters and plenty of limited-time rewards arriving together, this latest update gives players even more reasons to jump back into the arena.
