Start Your Mission in Tank Brigade
Indie studio Dual B Games has officially launched its first major project, Tank Brigade, on August 14, 2026. The game takes inspiration from old-school top-down arcade tank shooters and gives the formula a modern 3D makeover while keeping its colorful, cartoon-inspired visual style.
Tank Brigade puts players behind the controls of a customizable tank as they battle through a variety of environments. Each run offers different challenges thanks to procedurally generated levels, biomes, enemy encounters, and boss battles. Players can also unlock powerful weapons and upgrades, allowing them to build their tank around their preferred playstyle.
The story follows a war that has reached a dangerous stalemate. The Alliance of Republics continues its fight against the forces of the Iron Commander, and players are sent through a newly discovered strategic route to break through enemy defenses. The goal is to eliminate key targets and help the Alliance reclaim enough territory to strike back at the Iron Commander’s growing empire.
For players looking for an extra challenge, Tank Brigade also features Survival Mode. This fast-paced mode takes players across land, air, and sea using different vehicles while testing how long they can stay alive.
The game also brings back the classic couch co-op experience. Players can team up with a friend locally or use Steam Remote Play Together to play online.
With its mix of arcade action, customization, replayability, and co-op, Tank Brigade looks like a fun throwback for fans of classic tank games.
