Leaderboard Functionality Is Also Coming to Shujinkou
Rice Games has added 16 new Steam Achievements to Shujinkou, giving players another reason to revisit the Akuma Quests and Swimsuit Quests DLC. Both content packs launched last year, but their Steam Achievements had been missing until now.
The new achievements are available immediately, and players can unlock them by completing the relevant objectives across the two DLC packs. Players who already met the requirements using their existing save data will not have to repeat anything. Once they load their save, the corresponding Steam Achievements should unlock automatically.

Rice Games also apologized for the long wait and thanked the Shujinkou community for its patience and continued support. Meanwhile, work continues on Shujinkou v1.46, which is set to introduce leaderboard functionality. The update is currently undergoing additional testing, with the team working through several platform-specific and gameplay-related issues before releasing it on Steam and PlayStation.
Nintendo Switch players will have to wait a little longer for v1.45, which will arrive as version 1.1.0 after additional verification.
Looking further ahead, Rice Games is targeting October or November 2026 for another major update, potentially numbered v1.47 or higher. The patch will fix longstanding annoyances, quality-of-life improvements, and various bugs reported by players and identified by the developers.
Overall, it looks like Shujinkou still has plenty in store for players, with more updates and news planned.
