Scary Baboon Just Received Its Massive Bosses Update

Meatman Is Ready to Scare Everyone in Scary Baboon

Scary Baboon is taking its multiplayer experience to the next level with its latest major update, putting teamwork at the heart of a brand-new boss battle.

The new Bosses Update introduces Meatman, one of the game’s most recognizable monsters and the disturbing result of a failed laboratory experiment. While players can attempt to defeat the creature on their own, ENVER designed the encounter primarily around cooperative play, encouraging groups to coordinate their attacks and help each other survive.

The update adds a fresh layer to Scary Baboon’s social gameplay. The VR title has already built its reputation around chaotic encounters, unexpected moments, and players simply having fun together. Now, the Meatman battle gives those players a reason to work as a team and take on a shared threat.

ENVER has also connected several of the game’s existing systems to the new boss fight. Weapons and combat mechanics from the Fight Back update now become useful during larger battles, while pets introduced in July can increase players’ critical-hit chances. Defeating Meatman can also reward players with new eggs and more powerful pets.

The Bosses Update also adds new weapons, explosives, shields and a dedicated boss tech tree, giving players more options when preparing for the fight. The update follows several major additions, including Dreamcore, Fight Back, Toxic and the Pet Update, showing how quickly ENVER continues to expand the game.

Scary Baboon has already reached millions of players, earned a 4.7-star rating from more than 73,000 Meta Quest ratings and grown a Discord community of over 220,000 members.

With the Bosses Update, ENVER is giving that growing community another reason to jump in, team up, and see who can survive Meatman.
