Check Out What’s Cooking in Gate Zero
Templar Media has released the first combat gameplay trailer for Gate Zero, giving players a closer look at its action, time-travel mechanics, and the mysterious EON World. The story-driven action-adventure is currently scheduled to launch on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in Spring 2027.
The new trailer follows Max, a teenager from a dystopian future, as he enters the chaotic EON World while searching for a new friend. This strange dimension has become corrupted by time and space, causing people, objects, and ideas from different eras to collide. Max must fight creatures known as The Kairos while navigating this unstable realm.
Set in ancient Israel, Gate Zero blends combat, stealth, dialogue, exploration, and puzzles as players attempt to preserve history and find a way back to the future. The game takes players across historically researched locations, including Galilee, Capernaum, Cana, the Jordan River, and Jerusalem, while the Roman Empire’s occupation creates a tense backdrop for the story.
The game also aims to offer players a closer look at first-century life through Max’s perspective. Players will encounter people connected to Jesus’ ministry, experience major biblical events, and witness some of the miracles described in scripture.
Built in Unreal Engine 5, Gate Zero combines cinematic visuals with a semi-open-world setting designed around historical and biblical detail. It certainly looks like an interesting mix of history and sci-fi adventure. You can go ahead and wishlist it right now on all the platforms ahead of its release.
