Wishlist DERELIKT on Steam Right Now
Developer Visuwyg and publisher Hyperstrange have officially unveiled DERELIKT, a narrative-driven retro first-person shooter that captures the unsettling atmosphere of classic PS1-era sci-fi horror. Scheduled to launch later this year on PC, the game blends survival horror, exploration, and storytelling into an experience that pays tribute to genre-defining classics while carving out its own identity.

Set aboard the Von Neumann Outpost, a remote research station built into a derelict asteroid orbiting Saturn, DERELIKT throws players into a facility where almost everything has gone wrong. The station is falling apart, its systems are failing, and the remaining survivors each seem to have a different version of the truth. As you dig deeper into the mystery, you’ll uncover secrets that hint at something far older and far more dangerous than anyone expected.
Inspired by titles such as System Shock 2, Alien Resurrection, and Doom 3, DERELIKT focuses on survival rather than overwhelming firepower. Players will explore abandoned laboratories, cramped corridors, and crew quarters while searching for valuable supplies, solving environmental puzzles, and unlocking new paths through the increasingly dangerous station.
The game also features more than a dozen NPCs, each with their own motives, knowledge, and role in the unfolding story. Some may help you survive, while others could become unexpected threats.
Combat emphasizes resource management, with limited ammunition, health, and inventory space forcing players to think carefully before every encounter. Every decision carries weight, making survival feel tense from beginning to end.
If you’re a fan of old-school sci-fi horror with a strong focus on atmosphere and mystery, DERELIKT is definitely one to keep on your radar later this year.
