Build, Feast, and Conquer in ASKA
Sand Sailor Studio and Thunderful have released a major new update for ASKA, giving players more ways to expand, customise, and manage their Viking settlements. The Great Hall & Feasts Update introduces several highly requested features, along with new food production systems and the game’s biggest landmark yet.
One of the main additions is the introduction of wheat, flour, and bread. Players can explore the swamp islands to collect wild wheat, grow it in their settlements, and process it into flour before baking bread at the Cooking House. The update also adds a Windmill and a new Milling job for villagers.
Building has received improvements as well, with revamped wall-placement tools making it easier to construct defensive structures. New slanted wall variants also give players more flexibility when building across uneven terrain.
The centerpiece of the update is the Great Hall, the largest structure currently available in ASKA. Once constructed, players can organise grand Feasts using high-tier food. These celebrations bring villagers together while providing settlement-wide bonuses that improve productivity, morale, and combat effectiveness.
The update also introduces a Custom Game Mode, allowing players to adjust settings such as season lengths, invasion frequency, starting progression, and equipment. Meanwhile, the reworked whitelisting system provides greater control over which villagers are assigned to specific jobs and buildings.
With more than 600,000 players having entered its Viking world during Early Access, ASKA continues to grow. This latest update gives players even more reasons to return and keep building their settlements.
