Rescue the Prince in Angel Guardian
Corgee Inc. has officially launched the public demo for Angel Guardian as part of Steam’s Cyberpunk Fest, giving players their first chance to try the upcoming 90s anime-inspired sci-fi action platformer. The demo arrives after the game recently caught the attention of outlets such as GameDaily and Kotaku en Español.
Set aboard the devastated space station Alterra, Angel Guardian follows Kita, a Guardian tasked with rescuing the young prince Eiji after a catastrophic attack leaves the station in ruins. The game combines fast-paced platforming with a mix of shooting, stealth, hacking, and action-focused combat to deliver an energetic sci-fi adventure inspired by classic anime from the 1990s.
The newly released demo covers the opening chapters of the story while introducing players to the game’s core mechanics. One of its biggest highlights is an optional Twitch integration feature that allows viewers to interact with the gameplay in real time.
Players can enjoy Angel Guardian as a traditional single-player experience or activate Twitch Mode from the main menu. When enabled, viewers can use chat commands to spawn different enemy types, send ammunition for various weapons, or trigger Prince Eiji’s special abilities. Depending on how the audience chooses to participate, each session can become either a helpful cooperative experience or a chaotic challenge.
The free demo is available throughout Steam Cyberpunk Fest, running from August 3 to August 10, and Corgee Inc. has confirmed that it will remain accessible even after the event ends.
If you’re looking for a fast-paced action game with a unique community-driven twist, Angel Guardian’s demo is worth checking out before its full release.
