Waterpark Simulator Is Getting So Much Bigger
CayPlay Studios has announced that Waterpark Simulator will officially leave Steam Early Access and launch its full 1.0 version on July 31, 2026. The same day, the game will also make its long-awaited debut on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. According to the developer, this update is more than a standard full release, describing it as a complete overhaul that feels like “Waterpark Simulator 2.0.”
Founded by popular YouTube creator Caylus Cunningham, who has more than 50 million subscribers across his channels, and longtime business partner Travis Richardson, CayPlay Studios created Waterpark Simulator to offer a polished take on the physics-based management genre. Rather than delivering a quick project, the studio aimed to build a game shaped by player creativity, chaotic fun, and long-term community feedback.
Since launching in Steam Early Access in August 2025, Waterpark Simulator has surpassed one million downloads and earned an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam. The game quickly gained popularity after being featured by major content creators, including CaseOh, Ironmouse, Daz Black, and Game Grumps.
Despite the major improvements arriving with version 1.0, CayPlay Studios confirmed that the game’s price will remain unchanged. The team said Early Access sales provided enough support to fund future development, allowing the studio to thank players by avoiding a price increase.
Co-founder Travis Richardson said the goal was to make version 1.0 a truly transformative update rather than a simple milestone. He also teased that multiplayer will introduce even more unpredictable and hilarious moments as players turn their carefully designed waterparks into chaotic playgrounds.
With a full release, console launch, and a wealth of new content arriving together, Waterpark Simulator looks ready to make an even bigger splash later this month.
