Meet Your New Companion in Sill Sticks
SQOOL Inc. has officially launched Sill Sticks, a new desktop companion app that lets a laid-back stick figure quietly live inside your PC while you work or play. The free app is now available on Steam starting today, and it comes with two different DLCs.
Sill Sticks follows the success of Sill Cats, the desktop pet app released earlier this year. Instead of taking care of a virtual pet, players simply share their desktop with Bota, a lazy yet oddly lovable stick figure who spends his days lounging around, grumbling to himself, and enjoying life’s simple pleasures.
According to the developer, Bota loves cats, has a sweet tooth, prefers staying indoors whenever possible, and happily wastes time watching TV, playing games, or sleeping. As you go about your daily tasks, you can occasionally check in on his amusing comments and relaxed lifestyle, adding a small dose of humor to your desktop experience. SQOOL also confirmed that the app will receive gradual updates over time, bringing more content in future releases.
While the base app is completely free, players can expand the experience through two optional paid DLC packs. The Color & Dress-Up Pack lets users customize Bota with new colors and outfits, while the Partner Pack introduces another stick figure companion to keep him company.
To celebrate the launch, both DLC packs are available at a 10% discount from July 20 through August 3.
