Rev Your Engine for NASCAR 26
iRacing Studios and NASCAR have officially announced that NASCAR 26 will launch on September 18 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Alongside the announcement, the developers released a new developer diary showcasing several of the biggest gameplay improvements and features players can expect in this year’s installment.
One of the standout additions is the new Dynamic Track system, which allows track conditions to change throughout a race weekend. As the surface evolves, vehicle handling will also change, encouraging drivers to adjust their strategy and driving style during every event.
Following the success of last year’s NASCAR 25, the first standalone NASCAR console title developed by iRacing Studios, NASCAR 26 aims to deliver a more polished racing experience. The game features NASCAR star Kyle Larson as its cover athlete and includes all four major NASCAR series: the NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, Craftsman Truck Series, and ARCA Menards Series. Players can race with real-world drivers across each championship.
The new entry also expands Career Mode, introduces cross-platform multiplayer, and adds fan-requested features such as burnouts, an improved driving model, and additional content that will be revealed in the first gameplay trailer arriving on July 29.
NASCAR 26 will be available in both Standard and Gold Editions. The Gold Edition includes three days of early access, allowing players to hit the track starting September 15. Pricing, pre-order details, and the full list of Gold Edition bonuses will arrive later this month.
