Silver Palace Dichotomy Beta Test Goes Live With Several Hours of Content

Welcome Back to Silver Palace

Silver Palace has officially kicked off its Dichotomy Beta Test, giving selected PC players their first chance to dive into the upcoming Unreal Engine 5-powered open-world action RPG. The limited closed beta is free to access for invited participants, though all progress will be wiped once the test concludes. Players can expect more than 40 hours of content during the beta.

One of the biggest additions is the debut of the male protagonist, allowing players to choose between a male or female lead at the start of their journey. The playable roster has also grown to 15 characters, including eight brand-new additions.

The beta features several hours of main story content alongside branching side missions that emphasize detective work, exploration, and deduction. Character-focused storylines return as well, while the game’s expanded city introduces more puzzles, hidden chests, interactive events, and secrets to uncover. Players can also take a break from investigations by trying activities like urban horse racing, offering a different perspective on the bustling metropolis.

Elementa has also overhauled Silver Palace’s combat system. Battles now revolve around dodging, countering attacks, stamina management, and stun mechanics, creating a more strategic combat experience. New assist features make the system easier to learn for newcomers, while updated character skills, Ultimate Abilities, and more challenging boss encounters provide greater depth for experienced players.

Set in a Victorian-inspired world powered by the mysterious liquid Silverium, Silver Palace blends anime-inspired visuals with a dark detective story filled with mystery, crime, and supernatural elements. As players uncover the truth behind the city’s polished exterior, they’ll encounter a world where progress and danger exist side by side.

The beta already offers a promising glimpse of what Silver Palace aims to deliver, and it’ll be interesting to see how player feedback shapes the game’s road to launch.
