SEGA Reveals Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds DLC Roadmap Alongside a New Game

New Announcements for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and More

SEGA made a strong appearance during the Summer Game Fest 2026 livestream, marking Sonic’s 35th anniversary with a mix of fresh reveals and future content plans. The spotlight was firmly on Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, which continues to build momentum with a steady stream of crossover content.

One of the key highlights was the first look at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pack, which is coming out in July 2026. It features Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo in it, along with new cars and tracks that reflect the Turtles’ style.

SEGA also teased the Avatar Pack, which will arrive in October 2026. It will introduce Aang and Katara in the race. And the cool part is that you can use their powers to bend elements in the game. There will also be some new tracks, cars, and music that fit with the world of Avatar.

Looking further ahead, SEGA is also planning some cool things for CrossWorlds next year. There will be new collaborations with big names like Godzilla and Evangelion. Each promising larger-scale courses and standout character additions. Season Pass Two will feature six DLC packs in total, with more details expected later this year.

In addition to racing updates, SEGA announced a new indie collaboration titled SONIC PICO PARK. Developed by TECOPARK, the game blends the chaotic co-op puzzle gameplay of PICO PARK with Sonic-themed characters and levels, offering a fresh multiplayer experience.

With crossover content and new projects on the horizon, SEGA is clearly aiming to keep Sonic fans engaged well beyond the anniversary celebrations.
