Sometimes a game company’s announcement show just comes packed with heat. On occasion, Announcement after announcement just seems better than the last, and you can feel your hype growing. Sometimes, that announcement show just happens to be Nintendo Direct. Yesterday, Nintendo hosted their Nintendo Direct show that put the spotlight on some huge announcements surrounding the company and some of their most famous titles. In fact, a host of new games coming out are majorly anticipated releases that gamers have been waiting forever for. A press release dives into all of the details. June 2026’s direct revealed a whole host of titles that are bound to have gamers bouncing in anticipation. From the Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition to the Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, there are many titles coming to the Switch 2 for the first time. 

However, perhaps the biggest announcements to grace the Nintendo Direct are massive. Of course, these announcements could only be The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for the Switch 2 and Kingdom Hearts IV. Importantly Ocarina of Time is returning fully remastered to the Switch 2. However, Kingdom Hearts IV is the next installment of the hit RPG series that has captured the hearts and minds of gamers for years. Now, protagonist Sora will face his next challenge as he ventures into brand new realms. Take a look at the trailer below for a glimpse of the game.
