Doh! It’s time for a new adventure, and this time, one of the most famous families of all time is joining the waltz around the board. Importantly, they won’t be arriving alone.

Today, Scopely is happy to announce that they will be bringing the Simpsons’ world into their hit mobile game Monopoly GO. The Simpsons’ first return to a dedicated mobile game in thirteen years, the crossover event aims to develop a new universe that stays true to both franchises. A press release provides more details on the crossover. Additionally, a short gives fans a look at the universes as they collide, maybe literally. 

The Monopoly GO X Simpsons event is taking place from June 3 through July 29. Importantly, the crossover event will allow aspiring tycoons to traverse through some of the Simpsons’ most famous places. For instance, the Nuclear Power Plant that employs Homer, Krustyland, and more all appear in-game. Of course, these locations aren’t appearing without the characters that make them special. Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Mr. Burns appear side-by-side with Mr. Monopoly in the game. Importantly, the game will use these characters to tell stories, for the first time in Monopoly GO history, gameplay becomes interconnected through original Simpsons narratives unfolding across seasonal maps and more.

Monopoly GO X Simpsons event is beginning on June 3rd and runs until July 29th. Players will be able to experience the event through episodes as the story of the collaboration expands.
