Pre-Order Maseylia: Echoes of the Past Right Now
Nejcraft has officially teamed up with French indie studio Sol Brothers to bring Maseylia: Echoes of the Past to consoles, expanding the reach of one of this year’s most ambitious 3D Metroidvania titles. While the game is set to launch on PC on June 19, 2026, console versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch are now in development.
Alongside this announcement, players also got their first glimpse at the upcoming physical editions that will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. These boxed versions aim to appeal to collectors and fans who still value having a copy on their shelf.
Inspired by genre favorites, Maseylia: Echoes of the Past focuses heavily on fluid movement, exploration, and non-linear progression. The game takes place in a vast, interconnected sci-fi world shaped by the aftermath of a devastating alien invasion. As players progress, they unlock new traversal abilities that gradually reshape how they explore the world, opening hidden paths and uncovering long-buried secrets.
The experience spans six distinct biomes, each featuring unique enemies, environments, and boss encounters. With an estimated 10 to 15 hours for the main story and plenty more for completionists, the game also promises optional areas, upgrades, and rewards for those willing to explore every corner.
