Enter the Maze of Dreams in Gravity Whipped
Independent developer Packet Gaming Studios has officially confirmed that its upcoming puzzle platformer Gravity Whipped will launch on Steam on July 10, 2026. The game will arrive at a discounted launch price of $7.99, giving players an affordable entry into its unique gravity-bending gameplay. A demo version is currently available and will feature during Steam Summer Next Fest this month as well.
Inspired by the creative design philosophy seen in titles like Super Mario Galaxy, Gravity Whipped is a soft 2.5D puzzle platformer built around a standout mechanic: the Gravity Whip. This ability allows players to manipulate gravity in real time. This opens up inventive ways to traverse a dreamlike world filled with hazards, secrets, and collectibles.
Players will navigate spike-filled environments, gather coins and gems, and use these rewards to upgrade their character. All while unlocking hidden levels. The game features a substantial amount of content, including 196 rooms spread across 36 levels, blending both linear 2.5D sections and more open-ended 3D spaces.
Completionists will find plenty to enjoy, with over 3,300 collectibles scattered throughout the game. Additional features include a roulette system that grants power-ups after collecting coins, multiple difficulty settings, and time-based challenges for speedrunners. There is even an epic boss battle with multiple endings. The experience expands further with unlockable levels, bonus content, and support for 16 languages.
