Escape: Immersion Is Taking Part in the Upcoming Steam Next Fest

Step Inside an Underwater Military Base in Escape: Immersion

Indie studios Royal Games and AzDimension have confirmed that their upcoming horror adventure, Escape: Immersion, will be a part of the Steam Next Fest this month. The event will run from June 15 to June 22, giving players a chance to try out a brand-new demo. It will be available exclusively during this period, so make sure you don’t miss this opportunity.

Escape: Immersion

Escape: Immersion is an atmospheric horror game that draws inspiration from titles like Inside and Little Nightmares. The game places players inside a collapsing underwater military base. The setting plays a major role in shaping the experience, with flooded hallways, unstable structures, and hidden dangers creating a constant sense of tension. Players will need to carefully explore their surroundings, solve environmental puzzles, and avoid deadly threats. All while uncovering the secrets buried deep beneath the ocean.

The upcoming demo will offer a first look at the game’s eerie world, blending survival-focused gameplay with a distinct VHS-style visual presentation that adds to its unsettling tone. Those who previously joined the Playtest will notice several improvements, including bug fixes, refinements, and an overall more polished experience.

The full release of Escape: Immersion is currently planned for July 2026. And with its haunting setting and steady focus on atmosphere, this is a game horror fans may want to keep an eye on. Also, make sure to check out its official trailer right below.
