DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 Is Making a Comeback
KOEI TECMO America and Omega Force have officially confirmed that DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 Complete Edition Remastered will launch worldwide on October 1, 2026. The upgraded version of the classic 1 vs. 1,000 action title will arrive on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, bringing one of the most beloved entries in the series back into the spotlight.
Alongside the announcement, a new trailer highlights several additions designed to modernize the experience. Combat has been refined with new mechanics such as Evasion, which allows players to dodge attacks or reposition during battle, and Just Evasion, rewarding precise timing with powerful counterattacks. Defensive play also sees improvements through Perfect Power Guard, giving players the ability to deflect incoming strikes and create openings. The newly introduced Weapon Fusion system adds a layer of customization, letting players combine gear to transfer skills and elemental effects.
The remaster also expands on content, featuring new story scenarios and a large roster of unlockable officers. Classic modes return with enhancements, including the popular offline two-player mode. Players can team up or compete in split-screen across Musou, Free, and VS Modes.
Pre-orders are now live, with both standard and Digital Deluxe editions available. Early buyers will receive a Retro-Style Red Hare Saddle as a bonus item before September 30, 2026.
With improved mechanics, expanded content, and the return of fan-favorite features, this remaster aims to deliver a definitive version of a classic title for both longtime fans and newcomers.
