Explore a Forgotten Island in Dimhaven
Developer Zadbox Entertainment and indie publisher Blue Brain Games have officially launched Dimhaven – The Lost Source on Steam today. Already sitting on over 90,000 wishlists worldwide, the game has started strong, drawing attention from both players and content creators, particularly for its standout in-game notebook mechanic.
From the creators of Quern, this new title delivers a narrative-driven first-person adventure that blends mystery with thoughtful exploration. Players step into the role of Emily Ravenstone, who travels to the isolated island of Dimhaven to uncover the truth behind her uncle’s disappearance. What begins as a personal investigation soon unfolds into something far deeper and more unsettling.
Dimhaven itself is a major highlight. Inspired by retro European architecture, the island feels like a forgotten tourist paradise. However, the place is now abandoned and wrapped in an eerie atmosphere. Its environments range from decaying interiors to haunting natural landscapes, all designed to pull players into its quiet, mysterious world.
Gameplay focuses heavily on puzzle-solving and investigation. Players will explore interconnected areas, uncover hidden mechanisms, and piece together clues scattered across documents, objects, and locations. The camera-and-notebook system adds an extra layer of immersion, allowing players to document findings and track important details as the story unfolds.
With its mix of storytelling, exploration, and engaging puzzles, Dimhaven – The Lost Source offers a compelling experience for fans of narrative adventures. The game is currently available on Steam for just $22.09, with a 15% launch discount, until 7th July.
