Archon Soul Brings a Fresh Twist to Roguelikes When It Launches This July

Form Devastating Synergies in Archon Soul

Fantasy roguelike fans have another title to keep an eye on, as PolyGryph and Goblinz Publishing have officially announced that Archon Soul will launch on Steam on July 29.

Blending roguelike progression with dice-building mechanics, Archon Soul puts players in control of fully customizable dice that can be tailored to suit different strategies. Instead of relying purely on luck, players can swap dice faces, equip powerful runes, and experiment with unique dice bodies to create builds that match their preferred playstyle.

The game offers a deep customization system, featuring 40 different runes and more than 30 unique dice bodies, opening the door to over 65,000 possible combinations. Along the way, players will also draft from a pool of more than 200 spells, allowing them to create devastating synergies between magic and their customized dice while taking on increasingly difficult enemies.

Players can choose from four distinct playable characters, each offering unique abilities and strategies that encourage multiple playthroughs. Their journey spans four challenging acts, culminating in a showdown at the Archon’s palace.

Archon Soul will launch with a price of $13.99 / €13.99 / £12.99. At release, the game will support English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

With its mix of deep customization, strategic spell drafting, and roguelike progression, Archon Soul looks set to offer plenty of replay value for players who enjoy experimenting with creative builds when it arrives later next month.
