Alien: Isolation 2 Officially Revealed During the Summer Game Fest 2026

Face the Xenomorphs Again in Alien: Isolation 2

Creative Assembly and SEGA Europe have officially announced Alien: Isolation 2, along with a chilling new trailer during Summer Game Fest 2026. It’s been over 10 years since the Alien: Isolation game came out and redefined the survival horror genre. Now the series is finally returning with a brand-new chapter.

Alien: Isolation 2

Alien: Isolation 2 takes players back into the chilling world of the Xenomorphs, but this time it takes place in an entirely new setting, protagonist, and storyline. The game still has that feeling that made the first game so good. However, the sequel is aiming to push it even further. Players will once again face the relentless, unpredictable Alien, now smarter and more dangerous than ever.

The story unfolds on a remote colony world battered by constant storms, making it even harder for players to survive. They will have to explore the planet’s surface and into the tight, oppressive corridors of the Weyland-Yutani-operated Kurosaki Station. Players will have to think and use resources carefully to stay alive.

Al Hope, Creative Director at Creative Assembly, said: “It has been over a decade since we created the original Alien: Isolation and I am so excited to show everyone the first glimpse of the sequel. Our dedicated Survival team at Creative Assembly has been working hard to create a new, evolved Isolation experience continuing the legacy of the Alien franchise, making the eponymous killer smarter, the environment harsher and the chance of survival slimmer.”

Alien: Isolation 2 is now available for wishlist on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. A version for Nintendo Switch 2 is also coming out.

With its new setting, upgraded AI, and heightened sense of danger, the sequel looks set to deliver another gripping survival horror experience that fans have been waiting for years.
