IGN Live Hosting Xbox Showcase and Gears of War Direct

Xbox And IGN Back At It Again

Back for year three, two of the biggest names in gaming are celebrating the summer by celebrating gaming as a whole. IGN has announced that once again Xbox will be coming to IGN Live to show off what’s in store for fans. This time, the gaming industry giant will be hosting a live watch party, giving developer deep-dives into upcoming games, and allowing hands-on time with coming titles. A press release about IGN live provides more details about both the event. 

IGN Live is a two-day fan event. Running from June 6th-7th IGN live seeks to combine medias. For instance, the event will be meshing  the best of games, TV, film, anime, and more. In fact, some of the partners for the event have already been confirmed. Gamers can look forward to partners such as  Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced (Ubisoft), The Legend of Vox Machina Season 4 (Critical Role/Prime Video), and 2K. Of course, there will be more partners. For a list check out the recent features for the event. Yet, of course, Xbox is back as well. 

Xbox will be making its third return to the event this year. This time, they will be hosting a watch party for their showcase and a staple title in their game roster. That’s right, this year gamers can look forward to a watch party for the Gears of War: E-Day direct. Additionally, gamers can look forward to Xbox developer deep dives and even hands-on experience with upcoming titles on the show floor. 

IGN Live will be hosted at Magic Box at The Reef in Downtown Los Angeles. Tickets, including VIP and single-day passes,  are on sale now at IGN.com/live.
