Abyssus, Co-Op Brinepunk, Launching on Consoles In June With Massive Update

It’s almost time for a whole new group of players to descend into the depths. Old gods await, darkness, danger, and more all lurk in the abyss. Will you be brave enough to face them? Today, The Arcade Crew and developer DoubleMoose Games are happy to announce that their co-op brinepunk game, Abyssus, is coming to consoles this June. Arriving with a massive update on June 25th, the game will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S featuring total crossplay. A press release dives deep into the sunken world that awaits. Additionally, a brand new gameplay trailer shows off a bit of what gamers can expect from the update. 

Abyssus is a co-op roguelite set in the ruins of a sunken civilization. Here in the abyss, your team of explorers hunts the world’s most precious resource: Brine. Yet, gathering it wont be easy. Players will need to work with their team, building synergistic loadouts to take on the hordes of deep sea monsters that will seek to stop them. Wield the power of forgotten gods, use a sea of weapons and suit augments, and fight through 36 different enemy types and 4 bosses. 

Of course, the arrival of crossplay comes with a massive update. Importantly, the update is bringing a host of new features. For instance, players can  brand-new God, new blessings, a new area filled with fresh enemies and challenges and more. Additionally, a new premium cosmetic DLC, the Brinerot Pack, will also be available at launch for players who want to descend with a little style.

Abyssus is going cross-platform on June 25th. Currently players can grab the game on Steam.
