Shot One Fighters Dropped Its First Gameplay Trailer, Kickstarter Is Going Live Soon

Meet the Awesome Shot One Fighters

Red Moon Workshop has officially unveiled the first gameplay trailer for Shot One Fighters, offering a closer look at its unique blend of fighting game mechanics and roguelite progression. The upcoming title is a single-player 2.5D experience that combines fast-paced combat with a run-based structure, where every decision shapes how each playthrough unfolds.

The project is being developed in collaboration with well-known figures from the fighting game community, including Justin Wong and JMCrofts. Their involvement is reflected in the game’s focus on skill-driven combat. Every move players unlock is one they actively perform, ranging from combos and counters to mobility tools. This approach keeps the gameplay grounded in traditional fighting mechanics while adapting it to a solo, progression-focused format.

Shot One Fighters places players on a cinematic intergalactic journey filled with colorful characters and fully voiced story moments. There are over 100 moves to unlock and experiment with across three playable characters, allowing for flexible and personalized builds. Alongside this, players can collect a wide variety of artifacts that significantly alter gameplay, ensuring that no two runs feel the same.

Another standout feature is the central mech hub, which acts as a home base. As players progress, they gradually rebuild and expand this space, unlocking story elements and new interactions. The game also includes dozens of unique events and NPC encounters that add variety and depth to each run.

Shot One Fighters is now available to wishlist on Steam, with a Kickstarter campaign set to launch soon. With its mix of technical combat and roguelite design, it aims to offer something fresh for both fighting game fans and newcomers.
