Hexroads Announced for PC, Set for Q4 2026 Release

Prepare to Enter the World of Hexroads

Indie developer Ivan Konorkin has announced Hexroads, an upcoming real-time strategy game with roguelite elements, scheduled to launch on PC via Steam in Q4 2026. Developed entirely as a solo project, the game combines classic RTS mechanics with the unpredictability of repeatable runs. Players can already wishlist the title on Steam to track updates as development continues.

Hexroads

In Hexroads, players take control of a growing kingdom, building and expanding their territory during the day while preparing to withstand relentless threats at night. Players capture towns and strategic hubs, strengthen their economy, and direct armies along road networks to secure key positions. When night falls, enemy forces attack in waves, pushing players to defend their lands and adapt their strategies under pressure.

Each new dawn brings fresh opportunities. The game introduces new quests and perks at the start of every cycle, ensuring that no two runs feel the same. Players can experiment with different approaches, whether focusing on expansion, defense, or strategic alliances.

Magic plays a central role in combat and progression. Players can cast powerful spells, upgrade weapons, and evolve their towns to unlock stronger defenses and abilities. At the same time, the game allows players to interact with various factions, building relationships that can influence how each run unfolds.

Designed for players who prefer strategy without heavy micromanagement, Hexroads emphasizes short, intense battles and steady progression. It also includes optional one-to-two player co-op, offering a shared strategic experience.

With its blend of RTS depth and roguelite variety, Hexroads is shaping up to be a compelling and replayable strategy title. You can check out the official trailer right below.
