Swarm Me Is Finally Available on Steam Today

Survive the Enemies in Swarm Me

Independent developer KBGS has officially released Swarm Me, a minimalist survival game that challenges players to outmaneuver overwhelming enemy swarms using traps and environmental hazards rather than relying entirely on traditional weapons. The game is now available on Steam, launching with a limited-time 10% discount.

Swarm Me

Swarm Me delivers a fast-paced arena survival experience inspired by classic horde-style gameplay. Players take control of a small drone that must evade and survive waves of enemies that constantly pursue it. Instead of focusing purely on firepower, the game emphasizes movement, timing, and strategic use of traps scattered throughout the arena. Players also manage a shared energy pool that powers both the drone’s health and its weapons, adding an extra layer of decision-making during intense encounters.

As each run progresses, the swarm becomes larger and faster, transforming the arena into a chaotic test of spatial awareness and quick reactions. The core objective remains simple: survive for as long as possible while triggering traps efficiently and keeping the relentless swarm under control.

The game features arenas filled with environmental hazards that can be used to defeat enemies, allowing players to experiment with different survival strategies. Swarms can grow to as many as 250 enemies at once, creating tense moments where careful movement becomes essential. Players can choose to enable or disable weapon modes, allowing for either pure trap-based survival or combat-assisted gameplay.

Additional mechanics include special items that help with crowd control and escape, drone upgrades that improve survivability during escalating waves, and a banking system that stores points between runs. With its minimalist top-down design and short, replayable sessions, Swarm Me aims to deliver a smooth experience on both PC and Steam Deck.
