Tavern Timer has officially launched on PC and Mac via Steam, offering a fresh take on productivity tools by blending focused work sessions with cozy, game-like progression. Designed as a companion app for everyday tasks, it transforms routine work into a rewarding experience where progress directly shapes a charming virtual tavern.
At its core, Tavern Timer combines task management with light simulation elements. Players select from five anthropomorphic keepers, including a cat, moose, prairie dog, lizard, and kinkajou. Each one of them manages the tavern while users complete real-world work. Every finished session rewards coins, which can be spent on decorating and expanding the space.
The game features over 200 unlockable items spread across more than 25 themes, allowing for extensive customization. Players can craft environments ranging from rustic medieval taverns to stylized spaces like vaporwave lounges or dark academia studies. This variety ensures that the workspace evolves alongside the user’s preferences and mood.
Beyond aesthetics, Tavern Timer includes practical productivity tools. A built-in Pomodoro system helps structure work and break intervals, while custom timers and a detailed to-do list with subtask tracking offer flexibility. Users can further tailor their experience with multiple music playlists and weather settings, creating a relaxing and immersive atmosphere.
The app can run quietly in the background or switch to a minimal Focus Mode for distraction-free use, making it adaptable to different workflows.
