The mid-season update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone has arrived, bringing a slate of new modes, gameplay tweaks, and content across multiplayer, Zombies, and battle royale.
Season 02 Reloaded is available now and introduces Black Ops Royale, a new free mode for Warzone inspired by the original Blackout experience. In this variant, players start with minimal gear, loot equipment across the map, and battle until only one squad remains standing. The mode is scheduled to go live shortly after the update.
The update also delivers several gameplay adjustments designed to encourage faster, more aggressive combat. Three perks in the loadout system have been refreshed, including the new Momentum perk in Slot 2, which replaces Alertness and rewards players for chaining together eliminations and staying on the offensive. Additional perk updates focus on improving enemy tracking and rewarding follow-up engagements.
Outside of Warzone, Season 02 Reloaded expands the broader Black Ops 7 experience with additional content across multiple modes. Multiplayer receives new and returning maps and limited-time modes, while Zombies players can jump into Paradox Junction, a new round-based map filled with fresh objectives and enemy encounters.
Developers also highlighted ongoing seasonal events, challenges, and unlockable rewards tied to the update. Players can earn new weapons, cosmetics, and progression rewards through in-game activities and the seasonal Battle Pass.
Season 02 originally launched in early February, and the Reloaded update represents the traditional mid-season refresh that keeps the game’s content cycle moving forward with additional features and gameplay updates.
With new modes, perk changes, and expanded content across multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, Season 02 Reloaded continues the steady rollout of updates aimed at keeping the Black Ops 7 ecosystem evolving for players across all platforms.
