Human Computer Reveals Debut Game Ballgame, a Physics-Driven Golf Adventure

Prepare to Swing Your Club in the Ballgame

Independent studio Human Computer has unveiled its debut project, Ballgame, a golf-inspired physics platformer launching on Steam in 2026. Backed by Makers Fund, the studio introduces players to Dolf. It is a newly sentient golf ball who smashes, bounces, and grinds through chaotic tournaments and offbeat parlor challenges. The game blends high-stakes competition with playful absurdity, delivering an experience that’s equal parts punishing and exhilarating.

“When we started Human Computer, we were committed to making deeply satisfying games while applying our strengths in art direction, audio design, and narrative,” said Eliot Garcia Weisberg, co-founder of Human Computer. “With Ballgame, we let our creativity run wild, blending our love of arcade chaos with skill-based mechanics to create something that’s simple to pick up, tough to master, and bonkers in the best way. It’s just the beginning of a much larger creative vision for the studio, and we’re excited to see where this first shot leads us next.”

Drawing inspiration from golf, pinball, pachinko, skeeball, and more, Ballgame reimagines the simple goal of reaching the hole in as few shots as possible. Each handcrafted course transforms swings into platforming puzzles packed with bumpers, rails, bubbles, and spikes. Players must carefully manage momentum and unpredictability, as every strike sets off a chain reaction of kinetic mayhem.

Victory in tournaments expands the “Ballmanac” and unlocks access to the Parlor. It is a collection of arcade-style minigames where precision meets spectacle. Success earns Figment, the in-game currency used for upgrades, customizations, and unlocking 99 distinct ball personalities.

Ballgame is now available to wishlist on Steam ahead of its 2026 release.
