Alaloth: Champions of the Four Kingdoms Receives Update 1.4 on Steam and GOG

The Northwind Update Is Live in Alaloth

Developer Gamera Interactive has released the Northwind Update (Version 1.4) for Alaloth: Champions of The Four Kingdoms, bringing a wave of new content and improvements to the action RPG on PC. The free update is now available for players on both Steam and GOG.

The Northwind Update expands the world of Plamen with a brand new questline connected to the lore of Kariasha. This storyline introduces a tale involving two legendary warriors whose fate is tied to a powerful necromancer, adding new narrative depth to the game’s dark fantasy setting. Alongside the story content, the update also expands the game’s map with a new FA region called Skarhjem and introduces a fresh boss encounter for players to challenge.

Update 1.4 also marks the completion of the latest phase of the game’s melee combat overhaul. According to the developers, the team has finalized the rework by balancing several weapon classes, including swords and warhammers. The team made these adjustments based on extensive community feedback gathered during previous updates.

Beyond new content and combat changes, the Northwind Update includes a range of performance improvements, gameplay tweaks, bug fixes, and a full localization pass across both official and community-supported languages. The changes aim to refine the experience and place the game in its strongest state yet, following months of updates and player feedback.

Looking ahead, Gamera Interactive has confirmed that the studio will reveal the first DLC for Alaloth: Champions of The Four Kingdoms in the coming weeks during a dedicated event.

To celebrate the update’s release, the game is currently available at a 50% discount on Steam as part of a limited-time Daily Deal promotion.
