Chashu Entertainment and indie.io have announced that Sands of Aura will launch on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 on February 26, 2026. This expanded console release invites players into the desolate world of Talamhel. It is an apocalyptic realm swallowed by endless seas of sand, where humanity stands on the brink of extinction.
Long ago, a catastrophic war reduced the planet to ruin, burying civilizations beneath shifting dunes. Only scattered mountaintops pierce the sands, forming fragile refuges besieged by violent storms and relentless undead legions. These last bastions endure under the protection of the Order of the Remnant Knights. As a newly inducted knight, players must rise to meet a terrifying new threat that could bring about humanity’s final collapse.
Traversal across the sandseas unfolds aboard a swift grainwake vessel, carrying players between isolated strongholds and perilous ruins. Along the way, buried secrets hint at long-forgotten truths and perhaps even a way to restore life to the dying world.
