Mexican Ninja Charges Onto Consoles and PC in 2026

Take Down the Corrupt Narkuzas in Mexican Ninja

Nuevo Tokyo is about to erupt. During IGN Fan Fest, Amber-owned studio Madbricks, alongside REDRUM, confirmed that Mexican Ninja will launch in 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. You can check out the official console announcement trailer right below.

This fast-paced 2.5D roguelike beat ’em up throws players into a neon-soaked battleground where Mexican street grit collides with Japanese cyberpunk. The city stands under the iron grip of the Narkuza. They are a brutal fusion of Narcos and Yakuzas, and it’s up to players to fight back. Every run delivers tight combo chains, lightning-quick dodges, precise parries, and explosive spirit abilities. Signature Mexican Jutsus and stylish combat mechanics transform each encounter into a bold, high-energy rebellion.

The story centers on a growing uprising against five powerful clan leaders who rule Nuevo Tokyo. As players climb from street-level brawls to city-shaking confrontations, evolving builds and unpredictable encounters keep each run fresh and intense.

With its console debut, Mexican Ninja expands beyond PC, bringing its sharp combat systems and swagger-filled progression to a broader audience. The 2026 simultaneous launch ensures players on both keyboard and controller can dive into the chaos together.

“Mexican Ninja has always been about energy – the kind you feel in your hands when every dodge, combo, and parry clicks,” said Dario Hoyo, Creative Director at Madbricks.

“Bringing the game to consoles alongside PC in 2026 means more players can jump into Nuevo Tokyo at the same time and experience that rhythm. Whether you’re on keyboard or controller, it’s about flow, confidence, and fighting back con huevos.”

A free playable demo is currently available on Steam ahead of the full release in 2026.
