Witness the Last Chapter in Locked in My Darkness 2
Locked in My Darkness 2: The Room, the final chapter of the psychological horror trilogy from Blusagi Team, launched today on Steam. This first-person horror experience concludes the story that began with Locked in My Darkness and continued in Blue Maiden, bringing the unsettling saga to a dramatic close.
The game centers on Yuki Tachibana, a Japanese high school student who relocates to New York with her parents in hopes of starting over. Instead of finding peace, Yuki soon confronts the shadows of her family’s past. Their modest apartment gradually transforms into a distorted space shaped by buried memories, guilt, and unresolved trauma. As reality begins to fracture, Yuki must uncover the truth hidden within her own home.
Built as a narrative-driven psychological horror experience, the game emphasizes atmosphere, exploration, and environmental storytelling. Players move through interconnected rooms, examine scattered notes, and solve environmental puzzles while shifting between unsettling alternate realities. The environment evolves as the story progresses, heightening tension and blurring the line between memory and nightmare.
Player choices and discoveries shape the outcome, leading to multiple endings. Optional collectibles provide additional insight into the characters and the events that haunt them. With an estimated playtime of two to three hours, Locked in My Darkness 2: The Room delivers a focused and haunting finale, offering a definitive conclusion to the trilogy’s psychological journey.
