GunZ: The Duel Reloads at Steam PvP Fest With Its Third Playtest

Join the Playtest of GunZ: The Duel

Masangsoft has announced that GunZ: The Duel, the revival of the legendary third-person shooter, will host its third global playtest as part of Steam PvP Fest, giving players around the world another chance to jump into the latest build during the festival.

Following two well-received global playtests, Masangsoft will once again run this test through Steam’s Playtest system. Players will gain direct, hands-on access to GunZ’s signature competitive PvP action, built around fast reflexes, advanced movement, and high-skill combat. By participating in Steam PvP Fest, the team aims to significantly broaden the game’s reach and introduce GunZ to a wider global PvP-focused audience.

This third playtest builds on player feedback gathered during the second test. Masangsoft has placed a strong focus on improving overall stability, refining core combat mechanics, and ensuring the game performs smoothly in a large-scale festival environment. The development team will closely monitor real-time PvP performance, matchmaking flow, and server stability while continuing to collect feedback to guide future development milestones. Masangsoft plans to share more details on specific gameplay changes and updates closer to the playtest launch.

“Steam PvP Fest gives us the perfect opportunity to put GunZ in front of a wider competitive audience,” said PD Max, Game Director of GunZ: The Duel. “This playtest allows us to see how the game performs at scale, while staying true to the fast-paced, skill-driven PvP combat that defines GunZ.”

The third global playtest will run on Steam from February 9, 2026, at 18:00 AM (PST) to February 15, 2026, at 18:00 AM (PST). Players can join through the Steam Playtest option on the game’s Steam store page once the test goes live.
