Tomb Raider Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary With New Brand Partnerships

The original Tomb Raider launched in 1996 and quickly made Lara Croft one of gaming’s most recognizable and influential heroines. Over the decades, the franchise has expanded far beyond its debut. It has inspired multiple sequels, blockbuster films, animated series, and a lasting cultural legacy. In 2026, Crystal Dynamics is marking Tomb Raider’s 30th anniversary with a major global celebration that brings together prominent partners across gaming, fashion, collectibles, and lifestyle brands.

The anniversary celebrations begin with a diverse lineup of collaborations. Hardware specialist 8BitDo will join the festivities alongside Aspyr, whose recent releases include Tomb Raider I–VI Remastered and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Fine artist Blend Cota Studios will create original works inspired by Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. All while Dark Horse continues its legacy of storytelling through comics.
