Amazon Games and Crystal Dynamics Are Working On Tomb Raider Title
Amazon Games is a publishing company that is slowly building a reputation in the West with releases including Lost Ark Online and New World. Furthermore, the company recently announced Blue Protocol, an upcoming title. Crystal Dynamics has three decades of experience in the industry. Today, Amazon Games and Crystal Dynamics have announced that they have reached a publisher-developer agreement to create a multi-platform Tomb Raider title.
The untitled game is set to be a single-player narrative adventure featuring Lara Croft. Furthermore, players will be able to enjoy their favorite features from the franchise as Lara Croft solves mind-bending puzzles and defeats a wide variety of enemies. Moreover, the developers will be utilizing the Unreal Engine 5 technology to make the biggest game yet, with more features and improved storytelling.
Chrisoph Hartman, VP at Amazon Games, stated, “Amazon Games is committed to bringing players games of the highest quality, from the best developers, across all variety of platforms and genres, and we’re honored by the opportunity to work with this storied developer and franchise.” Similarly, Scot Amos of Crystal Dynamics echoed his sentiments stating that he is excited to create a new title and enjoy a publishing collaboration.
Additionally, interested fans can look forward to more details on the game, including a release date and trailers at a later stage, as the game is still in early development.
