Join the Thrill in MARVIX
MAVRIX, the open-world mountain biking game created by professional rider and Red Bull athlete Matt Jones and developed by Third Kind Games, launches today on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game arrived at 3:00 pm GMT, launching in Early Access on PS5 and Game Preview on Xbox, and is available digitally via the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store.
This console release marks MAVRIX’s biggest milestone yet, bringing its full riding experience to PlayStation and Xbox players for the first time. Following a successful PC debut, the game now expands its growing global community, inviting console players to explore a vast 100 km² open world built around downhill racing, freeride exploration, competitive events, and trick-focused creativity.
The console launch also introduces a major content update headlined by Slopestyle Mode. Inspired by the real-world mountain biking discipline, Slopestyle shifts competition toward style, flow, and technical trick execution. Alongside this new mode, the update adds fresh tricks, new trails, expanded freeride areas, and improved progression systems. Players will also feel refinements to bike physics, animations, and overall handling, further enhancing realism and control.
Both console versions include all previously released PC content, including the limited-time MAVRIX Cup competitive series, plus new launch content debuting today. MAVRIX launches at £30 GBP and supports English, Chinese, French, Italian, German, and Spanish.
Built by professional riders, MAVRIX puts authenticity at the forefront, from suspension physics to trick execution. For the first time, players can also ride the Red Bull sponsor track, experience life as a sponsored athlete, and unlock exclusive top-tier rewards.
MAVRIX is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
