HoYoverse brought fresh energy to The Game Awards 2025 with a striking new trailer for Zenless Zone Zero. The showcase introduced the upcoming agents Ye Shunguang and Zhao. Along with a first glimpse of the mysterious and dreamy Angels of Delusion faction.
Zenless Zone Zero takes place in a world reshaped by catastrophic events known as the Hollows. Within New Eridu, the final refuge of modern civilization, players step into the role of a Proxy who works with a varied group of agents. Together, they enter unstable Hollow zones, confront powerful enemies, take on commissions, and search for the deeper truth. The game builds a lively atmosphere with its distinct art direction, responsive combat system that balances style and clarity. As well as a detailed portrayal of daily life in a futuristic metropolis.
The new trailer delivered the global gameplay debut of Ye Shunguang, a Void Hunter from Yunkui Summit. She serves as the first agent in the game with a dual-form combat style. She can shift fluidly between two modes that highlight sharp swordplay, aerial mobility, and fierce finishing moves. The trailer also featured Zhao, the quick-witted rabbit Thrien, known for sweeping through battles with a heavy greataxe and sharp instincts. It closed with a stylish hint of a future live performance tied to the Angels of Delusion, suggesting that significant story developments are on the horizon.
