HoYoverse has announced that Genshin Impact is debuting the first in-game look at its newest character, Flins, during gamescom 2025. The event also introduces fans to the game’s first offline booth experience for the upcoming version, which teases the long-awaited new region, Nod-Krai. Visitors can explore the booth from August 20 to 24 at Hall 6, Booth C031 in the Koelnmesse event arena in Cologne, Germany.
Now in its fifth year at gamescom, Genshin Impact continues to be a major draw for fans around the world. This year, the spotlight shines on Nod-Krai, the centerpiece of the game’s annual expansion. The region marks the start of a new chapter in Teyvat’s unfolding story, uniting both familiar faces and new factions. A special trailer, premiering at the event, reveals Flins, a Lightkeeper warrior who plays a pivotal role in this arc. The footage shows him confronting the ominous Wild Hunt with courage and determination.
The immersive booth at gamescom offers visitors a first-hand experience of Nod-Krai, complete with interactive challenges where players can aid Flins in his fight against the Wild Hunt. Alongside the gameplay, fans can enjoy stage performances, cosplay events, and exclusive merchandise. HoYoverse is also bringing themed treats through a limited-edition HoYoverse Café menu, while live band music adds to the festive atmosphere. For fans at home, Rocket Beans TV will stream live coverage directly from the show floor.
In addition, players can visit the Samsung booth in Hall 9 to try the latest summer-themed content on mobile, PC, and PlayStation 5. With support from UGREEN and HOLY, HoYoverse promises gamescom 2025 to be one of Genshin Impact’s most engaging showcases yet.
