Jon the Celebration in Once Human
NetEase Games has revealed Once Human’s 2025 holiday season updates, bringing festive celebrations, demanding new challenges, and a grand in-game gathering to close out the year. Players can look forward to limited-time events, powerful rewards, and seasonal activities designed to test skill while capturing the spirit of the holidays.
The centerpiece of the update is the Crimson Night Showdown, running from December 10 to January 21. This event introduces three intense dungeons: Red Vulture Combat Zone, Esoteric Altar, and Hunting Grounds. Each dungeon features ten enemy-filled floors where difficulty rises with every step forward. Players must clear every floor, facing stronger and more dangerous monsters as they climb. Players can tackle the challenge solo or in teams, with separate rankings for each. Lunacy affects both players and enemies, and most gear and tech items are allowed, while players can use up to three Adrenaline Shots per attempt.
The Red Vulture Combat Zone opens first, followed by the remaining dungeons in the weeks after. Once all three are available, leaderboards will go live, ranking players by completion time. Those who conquer the event will earn special rewards tied to their performance.
Holiday cheer also arrives with a Christmas-themed island available from December 10. At its center stands a giant tree that evolves as players contribute gifts. As it grows, players unlock Whack-A-Mole tickets and exclusive rewards. When fully completed, the tree allows crafting at nearby gift boxes. Players can trade, gift, or exchange these items for more tickets.
The season concludes with the Starlight Gala on December 30. This festive in-game party features decorations, gifts, a performance stage for music and dance, and a dedicated photo spot for capturing shared moments. So, what are you waiting for? Join the celbration in Once Human right now!
